Invite People

Add and manage team members

Overview

Adding team members to your school in Bundlebird allows staff to contribute content, collaborate on newsletters, and manage communication with parents. You can assign different roles depending on what level of access each team member needs.

1. Access the People Section

  1. Navigate to Manage School.
  1. In the Manage School panel, locate the on People section.

Here you’ll see:

  • A list of current team members, including their name, role, and last login date.
  • Any pending invitations that haven’t yet been accepted.

2. Invite New Team Members

  1. Click Invite People.
  1. In the dialog box that appears:
      • Enter one email address per line (you can invite multiple people at once).
      • Select the role you’d like to assign to all recipients of this invitation.

📝 Only the Primary account holder can delete the school account itself. Admins can manage almost everything else.

3. Send Invitations

Once you've entered the email addresses and selected a role:

  • Click Send Invites.
  • Invitations will be sent via email.
  • You’ll see them appear under Pending Invitations until the invited users accept.

4. Managing Invitations and Team Members

  • Pending Invitations remain listed until the user accepts or are deleted.
  • You can resend an invitation email 3 days from the date of the original invite.
  • Accepted Members appear in the team list with their current role.
  • You can remove or reassign roles from team members by clicking Edit next to their name.

Tips

  • Use the Contributor role for most staff—this limits access to only writing their own content.
  • Use Editor or Admin roles for leadership, communications officers, or others helping manage the newsletter.
  • If a user doesn’t receive their invite, ask them to check their spam/junk folder or resend the invitation.
