Create a new post request
- Open the Requests Panel
- Click Requests in the sidebar.
- You'll see a list of all outstanding, recent, and completed requests.
- Create a New Request
- Click the Create button and choose Post Request,
or use the + New request button inside the Requests panel
Request fields
- Choose a Topic
- Select which topic this post should belong to.
- Tip: This determines where the final post will appear in the newsletter.
- Add a Title
- Use a clear, descriptive title that reflects the post content.
- Example: What Weโre Learning in Mathematics.
- Set a Due Date
- Choose when the post should be submitted by.
- Add Notes or Instructions (Optional)
- Include any helpful context, expectations, or required content for the assignee.
- These notes are visible to the person you're assigning the request to.
- Assign the Request
- Select one or more team members from the dropdown list.
- If you choose multiple users, separate requests will be created for each person (so each request can be managed individually).
- Send Email Notifications (Optional)
- Toggle the option to send an email to assignees.
- If disabled, requests will still appear on their dashboard when they log into Bundlebird.
- Click Create Request
- The request will now appear in the Outstanding Requests section.

Tips
- Use clear, action-oriented titles to make requests easy to understand.
- Assign requests early and include notes to avoid back-and-forth.
- Use email notifications for time-sensitive or high-priority content.
- Keep track of which requests are still pending directly from the Requests panel.
Managing Post Requests
- Edit a Request
- Click the โฎ (three dots) next to a request and choose Edit.
- Update the topic, title, due date, or instructions.
- Delete a Request
- Use the โฎ menu to choose Delete if a request is no longer needed.
- Track Completion
- Youโll see the request status change from Awaiting Post to Completed once the assignee submits their post.
- View Submitted Posts
- For completed requests, you can no longer edit the request, but you can click View Post to see the submitted content.
How Assignees Complete Requests
If Email Notification Was Sent:
- The assignee receives an email with request details and a "Write Post" button.
- Clicking the button opens Bundlebird directly to the post editor with request details pre-filled.
If No Email Was Sent:
- When the assignee logs in, they'll see the pending request on their dashboard under the Post Requests section.
